Efficient pretreatment requires a customised corona treatment station. This is why our engineers will develop the right configuration for your machine type using our equipment for corona pretreatment.
Our corona treatment stations create a tailored solution for each customer, meeting the necessary requirements for web speed, working width and all the other relevant factors. This ensures the ideal integration of the station with your production processes.
We offer you solutions with single- or double-sided suspension but also corona stations completely without a backing roller for film pretreatment. Stations with pneumatic opening can also be realised. In addition, we can provide you with treatment stations for sheet materials.
If you are interested in a station for corona treatment, please provide us with the technical details you would like your finished station to have. In particular, we need the following information:

While any treatment station for surface activation is tailored to the customer’s needs, the basic components and layout are similar.
Essentially, a corona station for surface activation consists of two electrodes. A generator supplies one of the electrodes with high voltage. The other electrode is used as an earthed counter electrode. An electrical discharge creates a plasma between the treatment station electrodes. This gap is where the activation takes place, the goal of any pretreatment.
This process releases ozone among other things, so the treatment stations have an extraction or filtering device. State-of-the-art corona stations are usually part of a comprehensive production line. It is therefore possible to integrate pretreatment with the ongoing production process. Our experts are at hand to provide you with tailored advice.
