A powerful and robust generator<\/strong> is an indispensable component of any system for corona pretreatment<\/a>. It is used to generate the high voltage applied to the substrate via the electrodes. The corona generated in the discharge zone<\/strong> breaks up the molecular chains of the nonpolar surfaces, improving the binding capacity of subsequent finishing layers.<\/p>\n

Most commonly, thin substrates<\/strong> such as films, labels or material for tubes and cups are pretreated using this method, but corona activation is also possible for sheets and any type of moulded part.<\/p>\n\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div> \r\n <\/div> \r\n \r\n <\/div> \r\n <\/section>\n\n\n
